This week we started learning bible stories and we decided to start with the story of Joseph and his brothers from Genesis 37. Through out the lesson we imagined our selves as Joseph’s brothers planning what to do with him and also simulating how Jacob cried when he received the bad news about Joseph. The kids were amazing and very creative.

Today we looked at obedience from Exodus 20:12 (NIV), it states: “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.” It was amazing to hear the children share their different experiences when they did what they were not supposed to do and what happened to them next. Yes, when we obey God, He blesses us with more life here on earth.

As we celebrate the resurrection week of Jesus Christ, we should always remember of His unfailing love. Today we reflected on how God loves us to the point that He gave His only son Jesus to die for our sins. John 3:16 reminds us of God’s love. The children were amazing and very participative through out the lesson.
