Our encounter now dates back at the beginning of April to May when she came through to SGY department with my now good friend Phillip Bukolo Jr. It was from there that we made acquaintance. Fast forward we met at church Cornerstone PWC in the east. She has been a good friend ever since we met and I am glad that today she is having her second appearance on Fruitful Thoughts Weekly Newsletter to remind and teach us about Mental Health Awareness and the impact it has on our daily lives. The year 2019 was a very busy year especially beginning the month of September, it came with all surprises and full force, both mentally and psychologically. Amidst all this chaos there seemed to be someone who was in a composed state. Eventually I learned of her name (Taonga) and started greeting her and by then I had no clue if she knew me, eventually we began to share a few interactions. She is reminding us today of what is important to our lives and that is pursuing the eternal, looking up to God and not dwelling on fleshly desires. Her name is Tukuza Phiri my friend. She is a true definition of hospitality. She is a poet, dancer and singer. I first got to meet her in the year 2019 September at Munali Pilgrim Wesleyan church. Her interest in poetry got me to take keen interest in her through to the year we did a dance on youth Day as group. She has a humble nature and dedicated to her work as an Usher.
